Why most dog trainer websites don’t book clients
Your website should sell your programs, not just describe them
I’ve seen a lot of dog training websites. The trainers behind them are skilled and kind. Their websites just make it hard to say yes.
- No prices or program details, so owners email you with questions instead of booking (or they don’t email at all)
- Your training philosophy is hidden, so the owner who wants force-free can’t tell you apart from the e-collar trainer
- One “Services” page for everything, instead of a page per program that Google can actually find
- No clear service area, so you don’t show up when someone searches “dog trainer near me”
- Booking takes five clicks and an email back-and-forth
Made for force-free trainers
-
I speak your language
I know the difference between LIMA and “balanced”, and why that matters to your clients. Your copy attracts owners who want kind methods, and gently filters out the ones who don’t.
-
Found by local dog owners
Pages built around searches like “puppy classes in [your city]” and “reactive dog trainer near me”, plus tips for your Google Business Profile and structured data for AI search.

Easy to keep up to date

Who builds your site
A web designer who only works with kind, science-based trainers
I’m Simone. Since 2020, more than 170 animal pros in the Netherlands and Belgium have launched their website on my designs, many of them force-free dog trainers and behavior consultants.
I know what dog owners ask before they book a trainer, where they click away, and what makes them pick you over the trainer with the prong collar. That’s built into every page. And I live with three rescue dogs myself, one of them with separation anxiety, so I know exactly how much a good trainer is worth.

What animal pros say
Words that get my tail wagging
I’ve had my website for a year and a half now, and it has brought me so many clients. I’m easier to find, people know exactly what they can come to me for, and they tell me they chose me because it looks so professional.
Iris Lobregt
I’m really proud of my website. But even better: it keeps bringing in lots of new clients! It has paid for itself twice over.

The investment paid for itself quickly, and I notice clients find me more easily. It feels completely like Hondenstem, my business, and it’s easy to update without being a tech person.

I wasn’t getting any sign-ups through my website. Since the new one went live, it made a difference in the very first week. Now I proudly send everyone to my website!

I’ve noticed I’m getting more messages, and people become clients much faster. It’s almost a shame it’s finished, because I really enjoyed the process!
Michelle Grippeling
Working together went smoothly, because Simone was clear about what she needed and how the process would go. Now I get a “wow” feeling every time I look at my website.

Simone helped me so well. I get great compliments from visitors, and they can find me easily. If you want a website that looks professional, this is for you.
Lenneke Molenaar
After two very expensive investments, I still didn’t have what I wanted. Scary, but I knew Simone wouldn’t leave me hanging. Highly recommend!

I hesitated about the investment at first, but I’m so glad I made it. A website that truly feels like mine, and it gets found every single day.

Dog trainer website FAQ
Questions trainers ask me
About the process, the packages and the Care Plan, see the website design FAQ.
Question not here? Send me a message, I’m happy to help.
How much does a dog trainer website cost?
At DigiPaws, a one-page dog trainer website costs $995 and a complete website of 5 to 6 pages plus a blog, with a page per program, costs $2,495. Hosting and a domain add about $120 a year, and the Website Care Plan is included for the first year from $49 a month.
What pages should a dog training website have?
A homepage that says who you help, how you train and where. A page per program, like puppy classes, private training and behavior consults, with what’s included and what it costs. An about page with your training philosophy and credentials. Reviews, a contact or booking page, and ideally a blog where you answer the questions your clients ask you every week.
Can clients book classes or sessions on my website?
Yes. I connect the scheduling tool you already use, like Acuity Scheduling or Calendly, or I build a smart intake form that asks the right questions about the dog before you hop on a call. No tool yet? I’ll help you pick one that fits how you work.
How do I show up for “dog trainer near me”?
Local searches lean on two things: your Google Business Profile, and a website that clearly says where you work. I make sure your city and service area are on the right pages, in your titles and in your structured data, and I give you tips to strengthen your Google Business Profile and collect reviews.
Can you show my certifications, like CPDT-KA or KPA-CTP?
Absolutely, and they deserve a prominent spot. Dog training isn’t regulated in the US, so certifications from organizations like the CCPDT, Karen Pryor Academy, IAABC or Fear Free are one of the strongest trust signals you have. I show them where owners make their decision, not hidden in a footer.
Do you build websites for balanced or e-collar trainers?
No. I only work with force-free, science-based trainers who use positive reinforcement. That’s the whole point of DigiPaws: helping the kind trainers get found, so more dogs end up in good hands.
I also sell online courses. Can my website handle that?
Your website can promote them beautifully, with a page per course and a clear button to sign up. The course itself stays on a course platform you already use. I don’t build course platforms or online stores.
