DIY with a website builder
For those who have the time, and secretly enjoy it.
- The cheapest option upfront
- You get to know every corner of your site
- Easily takes weeks of evenings
- You figure out layout, copy and SEO on your own
I design custom websites for pet businesses: force-free dog trainers, groomers, dog walkers, pet sitters and daycares. With a layout that works, copy that sounds like you, and an editor so you can update everything yourself afterwards.
You’re so good at what you do. Your website just undersells you: it looks a bit dated, doesn’t show up on Google, and definitely isn’t booking clients while you sleep. So dog owners click away, or end up with a trainer down the road who still uses outdated methods.
Between classes, consults and your own dogs, it just never happens. Building a website yourself takes weeks. And a general web agency doesn’t get why “force-free” matters so much, or what a worried owner with a reactive dog googles at 11 p.m.
Hand it over
With a layout that turns dog owners into clients, and copy that matches how you work with dogs.
I set up your site with the words dog owners actually type, plus the structured data that Google and tools like ChatGPT use to understand your business.
New class dates or a different photo? You change it yourself with the DigiPaws Editor. No need to call me for that.
Let’s compare

For those who just want it off their plate.
3The best of both
Built by me
For dog pros who want a website that works, without spending weeks on it.
Who builds your site
I’m Simone, and I help force-free animal professionals get a website that works. More than 170 animal pros in the Netherlands and Belgium already launched their website on my designs.
I know what questions dog owners have, where they click away and what makes them book. That’s built into every page I make. And because I build everything myself, without a bloated page builder, your site is fast, secure and fully yours.
I built this website exactly the same way.
How it works
Most websites go live in about 4 weeks. How fast exactly mostly depends on how quickly your content and feedback come in. After the kickoff, you’ll know exactly where you stand.
You fill out a questionnaire about your business, your clients and your goals. Then I map out what each page needs to do, before I build anything.
Your copy, photos and logo. Not a writer? No problem. Send a rough draft, and I’ll turn it into copy that works and still sounds like you.
Your homepage first, so you can see the direction. After your feedback, I build the rest. Then there’s one more feedback round on the whole site.
I launch your site, set it up for Google and show you how to update your copy and photos yourself with the DigiPaws Editor.
The DigiPaws Editor
New class dates, a different photo, an extra review: you do it yourself, in a few clicks. No WordPress skills needed, and no way to accidentally break something. Give it a try!
A sneak peek of how it works. At launch, you get a walkthrough for your own site, on video too.

Most pet pros need the complete website: a page per service is what gets you found and booked. Just starting out with one or two services? Start with a one-pager and grow from there.
$995
Everything a new pet business needs on one scroll-through page: who you are, how you work, your services, reviews and a contact form. Same care, same strategy, just less to build. Easy to turn into a complete website later.

Good to know
The practical stuff
No surprises later. Besides your website, you need a few things to keep it online and running smoothly. This is all of it.
A WordPress website needs regular care, just like a dog needs its vaccinations. That’s why every website I build comes with the Care Plan for the first year. I keep your site updated, backed up and secure, so you never have to think about it.
Basic ($49 a month): weekly updates, daily backups, 24/7 security and uptime monitoring, a weekly database cleanup, spam protection on your forms and a monthly report.
Plus ($89 a month): everything in Basic, plus speed optimization and 30 minutes of support or changes every month. Just email me, and I’ll take care of it.
Pay yearly and get two months free: $490 a year for Basic, $890 for Plus. After the first year, you decide whether to keep it.
Your domain is your address (yourdogtraining.com), your hosting is where your website lives. Both are in your name, so you always own your own website.
Don’t have them yet? I’ll help you pick a reliable hosting provider and set everything up together. Already have hosting? That’s fine too, as long as it runs WordPress well.
No page builder needed, so no license to renew every year either. The DigiPaws Editor comes with your site, including updates. Even if you stop the Care Plan one day.
Are we a good fit?
Pet business website design FAQ
The questions I get asked most about a custom website.
Question not here? Send me a message, I’m happy to help.
At least a homepage that says who you help and where, a page per service (like puppy classes, grooming packages or dog walking) with what’s included and what it costs, an about page with your approach and credentials, reviews, and a clear way to book or contact you.
If you work force-free, one thing matters extra: say it out loud. Dog owners who search for “positive reinforcement” or “force-free” want to see it right away, and so do Google and AI tools.
A one-page website is $995 and a complete website of 5 to 6 pages plus a blog is $2,495. Add-ons, like extra pages or online booking, are quoted after the kickoff. On top of that, you need hosting and a domain (about $120 a year) and the Website Care Plan for the first year (from $49 a month).
Because a website isn’t done the day it goes live. WordPress, plugins and security need regular updates, and the first year is when you’ll want the most small tweaks. With the Care Plan, I make sure everything keeps working, and you never end up with an outdated or hacked site.
After the first year, you decide whether to keep it.
Most web designers start with colors and photos. I start with strategy: before I build anything, I map out what each page needs to do. And because I work exclusively with force-free pet professionals, I already know your audience, your industry and what it takes to turn a dog owner into a paying client.
The result is a site that looks custom and actually works for your business.
Usually about 4 weeks from the moment you’ve sent your content. How fast exactly mostly depends on how quickly your copy, photos and feedback come in.
After the kickoff, you get a timeline, so you know exactly where you stand.
Not from scratch, but I’ll help you plenty. You send me a rough draft, or the copy from your current site, and I turn it into copy that convinces dog owners and gets found on Google. It still sounds like you: it’s your story.
Not at all. I’ll advise you on colors and fonts, and if you don’t have a logo yet, I’ll design a simple wordmark logo for you. Want a full brand identity with all the bells and whistles? Then a graphic designer is your best bet.
We keep what’s good: copy, photos, reviews. And I redirect your old links to the new pages, so you don’t lose your spot on Google and nobody lands on an error page.
They’re in your name, so you always own your website. No idea what you need? I’ll help you choose and set everything up together.
A tool I developed myself, especially for the websites I build. You see exactly which copy and photos you can change, and you change them without knowing anything about WordPress. The layout always stays neat, whatever you type.
At launch, I show you how it works, on video too.
Smoother than you’d think. Everything happens online: a questionnaire, email, and a video call when it helps. We schedule calls for your morning, which is my afternoon. You pay in US dollars, and while you sleep, I’m working on your website.
Of course. Your website grows with your business. For an extra page or feature, you get a custom quote. With a Care Plan, you get 10% off my hourly rate.
Yes. By default, you pay 50% to get started and 50% at launch. Prefer more installments? That’s possible too, we’ll work it out together.
Yes, and I’m happy to be open about it. I build with Claude Code, an AI tool that writes the code for me. But for me, AI is a tool, not the decision maker. Just like Canva: it’s all about how you use it.
I decide the strategy, the layout, the copy and the design, and I keep giving feedback until everything is right. So no AI slop, but a website built on real knowledge of the pet industry, with layouts and animations I couldn’t have built before. This website was made exactly the same way.
